Recipient of the Rebuild Texas Grant from Keep Texas Beautiful, KDB was able to purchase bedding plants and seven crepe myrtles to replace landscaping lost in the February 2021 freeze at the city’s historical railroad museum. Thank you to members of the Dickinson Optimist Club, one UTMB nursing student, and KDB board members who worked tirelessly for two hours improving the aesthetic appearance of the beautiful depot grounds.
In partnership with 10 volunteers from Higher Up 2 planted 100 bedding plants, 11 crepe myrtles. KDB supplied all plants, gloves, shovels, water and snacks for volunteers.
